For everyone in my listening area - basically coast-to-coast across Central Scotland - I list hereunder the bigger live gigs around and about. Will I bump into you at any of these, perchance?

THURSDAY, MARCH 18th: The fabulous DENNIS LOCORRIERE (from Dr Hook & The Medecine Show) is on stage at the Rothes Hall in Glenrothes (01592-611101)

FRI/SAT, MARCH 19/20th: Two night at Glenfarg for ALBERT LEE, playing with Hogan's Heroes at the Bein Inn.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7th: Here in Edinburgh, it'll be JOY LYNN WHITE at the Queens Hall (0131-552-8775)

FRI/SAT, APRIL 9/10th: A double-nighter for GAIL DAVIES at the Bein Inn, Glenfarg.

MONDAY, MAY 3rd: The great RODNEY CROWELL, with his band, here in Edinburgh at the Queens Hall (0131-552-8775)

THURSDAY, MAY 6th: JIM LAUDERDALE is in Edinburgh at the Queens Hall

FRIDAY, MAY 7th: Texas singer-songwriter PAT GREEN plays in Scotland for the first time - in Glasgow, at The Arches (0141-565-1023)

SUNDAY, MAY 16th: An interesting twosome sees DON WILLIAMS, with JUDY COLLINS as the support act - at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall (0141-353-8000).

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27th: JACKSON BROWNE will be on a rare Scottish trip, and plays the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow.
